Do The Green ThingI have been invited to design a poster for the 'Do The Green Thing' initiative by Pentagram. I remembered that I once read somewhere that if there were no devices left on standby in Europe, we would need 6 nuclear power-plants less. That certainly deserves more than a poster!

Skate DecksCustom skate decks designs for my friend and semi pro skater Daniel Tomlinson. The logo is based on the idea of a skateboard with a sail. The sail is there because we kept coming back to topics of boats, sea and ‘going with the flow’ when we were chatting about logo ideas. It is stylized as a Japanese symbol because Dan loves Japanese comic books.

Genocide PosterThis poster was my submission to a poster design competition organized by Armenian society in the Czech Republic. The theme as well as the occasion for it was the anniversary of Armenian genocide from 1915. I was one of two winners and went to display my work in Yerevan, Armenia.
Buttonless RadioConcept of a button-less radio. The stations are tuned by moving the ring on the dial and volume can be adjusted by rotating it. And that's all you really need from a radio... Visualisation based on Skullcandy Pipe.

Jacob Jelen is a London based multimedia and interaction designer in the making. Although still a student, he already has a broad professional experience in multiple design disciplines. His skills were demonstrated in music videos and motion graphics for likes of o2 or London Fashion Week and even an Oscar-nominated feature film. Currently, he is focused on interactive pieces, function design and finding original ways to use new media and technology.
