After working in the creative industry I was inspired to conduct a research project as part of a postgraduate degree in the Culture Industry. For my dissertation I travelled to different cities in the UK interviewing independent boutiques, on their experience of working with maker entrepreneurs, to work towards the topic of Routes to Retail: The Changing Landscape of Craft Retail in the Digital Age.
