An aspiring writer studying BA (Hons) English at Bournemouth University hoping to pursue a career in journalism. During my degree I have maintained the balance of work load and recreational writing; ensuring deadlines are met with precision and accuracy. Due to this, time pressures, editing, proofreading and undergoing in-depth research are almost second nature.

My responsibilities included, but were not limited to, creating content for the blog; including promotional videos wherein I was in close contact with the in-house editor.
Whilst working with the social media team I was regularly checking the audience reception our posts from networking sites like Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook were enacting. I would regularly boost posts that weren’t reaching the necessary number of customers.
As the preparation for Christmas was underway during my time there, I was intimately involved with the promotion of such. This included ensuring that the products included in the promotion of the Christmas range were effectively given to outside artists. In doing so I was in constant collaboration with said artists to ensure that they would adhere to what the promotion needed. Due to the timing I was also able to attend several of the photo shoots for the new range and as such helped with the rest of the team to ensure that the shoot went as smoothly as possible. This included observing the out-of-house photographers and working closely with them to understand better what they were doing.
