My role was to create content for multiple platform use, promoting new features, this included:
• Designing infographics for the product team to translate complex functionality
• Designing new webpages and illustration for the marketing website
• Presenting product updates weekly, to the whole company
• Perform user research and competitor analysis to improve designs and target content
• Writing blogs on all new feature updates with supporting graphics
• A/B testing webpage design with illustrations to determine the impact

This role progressed to me taking on a lot of responsibility within the company. I managing the office alongside health and safety, finance and HR, as well as organising events for the team. Working in this role in a start-up taught me the key to time management, communication and a lot about how a business is run. In my spare time, I would create the vector graphics and illustrations for the Marketing department and the CEO for board meetings.
Some of the project I worked on included
• Working with the CEO to gain Government and private funding
• Building an illustration and design guide for the company
• Processing the payroll, customer invoices and company cards.
• Organising monthly events within the company to bring the teams together, including working with local business for different events.
