I think having such a varied theme of careers has given me a better knowledge of the customer service world and how to solve problems when they arise. My current job within Eversheds Sutherland has given me a new level of responsibility which I enjoy, having to collate weekly and monthly reports regarding various subjects. I have to follow deadlines and make sure the reports go out to the clients in a professional manner. I have experience with various social media outlets, as I have used them throughout university to advertise my artwork and myself. During this time I have gained an excellent knowledge of how an office works from general admin duties, dealing with customers (both internally and externally) to invoicing, co-ordinating and filing important documentation and training new members of staff. I have now finished my degree and I am looking for a new role on a full time, permanent basis, to build on my existing skills and begin my career. I am currently working as an admin assistant, which I enjoy as it is challenging but my real passion is to go into a creative role and hone in my skills I have gained whilst at university and creating my personal portfolio. I feel my experience within this area has made me more confident with customers and clients. I also have experience in the financial side, as I have worked with SAGE to complete in house invoices at a previous job (for workshop and mobile customers). I also work with billing invoices at my current job also, both have given me a strong knowledge of how the finances should be run. I have always been determined to get a job done, and do it to the best of my ability. I really enjoy a challenge and think this strengthens the way I create work. I work great within a team environment and think it’s a great way to share ideas and gain other opinions to strengthen work. I feel I am a very creative and forward thinking individual and really enjoy taking on new tasks. During my time at university it opened me to trying new processes I never thought I could achieve, learning printing techniques such as screen-printing gave me a new found confidence for being innovative with my design ideas. I found a love for collage during my last year of university and really feel it affected my design aesthetic in a fantastic way. I am a lot more experimental and forward thinking with the way I process ideas and designs. I am extremely passionate about art and the creative industry. I have experience with Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, I mainly use Photoshop for my illustrations as I am more comfortable with the programme compared to Illustrator.Locked Pro Plan feature
