Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Jade Lennes and I am 24. Freshly graduated from London College of Fashion in Buying and Merchandising, I am looking for a BAA role in London. Born and raised in Paris, I have been living in London for 2 years.
After 6 years of studies in Fashion, I am more than ready to start my career in Fashion Buying. Joining your Buying teams at Warehouse would be a great opportunity for me. Warehouse is a company that I admire for its creativity and diversity in terms of products. The brand positioning is very interesting to me, right between the mass market high street retailers and the "premium" brands. I personally think that this position is the most successful and profitable one on the Fashion Market today, as the Industry is changing.
I believe a good buyer must have an acute eye and excellent knowledge in trends, but also good commercial, communication and business skills. My studies and formation in both Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing, along with my Postgraduate Certificate in Fashion Buying make me a great candidate for this role, as I gather all the skills required. I have always been interested in Fashion and I have always had a passion for all the products, from the accessories to the clothing. Having designed myself 3 collections when I was a design student, I understand the process of making a product and I know that Fashion is a much more complex industry than most people think, this is why I am even more motivated!
