Here I work as part of an enthusiastic team within a commercial environment to deliver makeup trends while providing a genuine customer experience and driving sales to be competitive against other flagship counters in the region. Therefore, it is an expectation for us as individuals to plan, prepare and perform store events to maximise promotions while building relationships with suppliers, dealing with a variety of people and reaching all members of the public. I have been a consistent advisor often being commended on my efforts with customers through the Boots customer feed-back scheme. This role has given me a great foundation for dealing with customers and the training provided has greatly expanded my already professional knowledge of make-up and skincare. In December this year, due to my team’s exceptional effort we became a million-pound account as we were up 23% on the year before as a result of smashing our personal and team targets in time for the end of year deadline.
I worked on the public side of the digital field, alongside a freelance App-Store developer. I gained a systematic understanding of application creation but also I managed the social media pages. From pushing the witty twitter promotions to creating and designing a Facebook banner advertisement which increased clicks to the blog page (which I also managed) by 200%. Since this my user focused interface skills have only continued to strengthen.
Working as a bar tender in one of London’s most prominent icons, The Gherkin. This drove forward a very demanding and high class clientele which required a new level of customer satisfaction, which was delivered. Working to a massive scale with the bar always being packed out, efficiency was vital. I had to be on point when serving drinks from our lengthy cocktail menu and have widespread knowledge on our extensive range of spirits and wines. This developed my ability to work under extreme pressure while keeping it cool and clean behind the bar and delivering the high quality service our customers would expect coming to such a renowned establishment.
