About me
I am working in various genres but primarily specialising in documentary based work, recording the everyday. I am particularly interested in research-led projects and historic archives. In Summer 2018 I achieved a First-class honours degree in BA (Hons) Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication, one of the six colleges that make up the world leading University of the Arts London. I was a student member of the National Union of Journalists, I have a UK Driving Licence and a Valid DBS Police Check.

Great Yarmouth 'the finest place in the universe'Great Yarmouth lies on the East coast of England, approximately twenty miles from Norwich, the only city in Norfolk. It takes its name from its position at the mouth of the River Yare, and the 'great' was adopted as a prefix in 1272, to differentiate it from the Southtown which was also known as 'Little Yarmouth'. This collection of photographs records a town which earliest reference is in the Domes-day Book of 1086, as it looks in the 21st Century. Through combining intruiging and sometimes hum

A voluntary role I began in January 2020, working in a team of community curators on the temporary exhibition ‘Memento’. The project is part of the museum's National Lottery Heritage Fund project ‘Sharing Cultures: Exploring our Collections.’ ‘Memento’ intends to explore the power of objects to become custodians of our most precious personal memories and emotions, it combines objects from the Museums own eclectic collection, alongside loans from the public in the local area. I worked on photographing items from the collection of one of the UK’s oldest museums, to help with press releases, item selection, physical marketing (leaflets) and social media. I also attended pop-up museum events in the community to promote the project to the public, as well as helping with the installation of the show in the run up to its opening.

Since graduating I further developed the relationship that I had from completing my Final Major Project, and exhibited my documentary photography project Great Yarmouth "The Finest Place in the Universe" in a solo show at the Skippings Gallery throughout August 2018. As a result of this, I then began a long-term piece of commissioned photographic work for the Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust. When completed, this work was exhibited firstly in The Rowhouses English Heritage Museum for the town's Arts Festival in June 2019 and then again at the Skippings Gallery for a Norfolk Heritage Event in September 2019.
