I am an experienced director, camera operator and marketeer who has worked in the TV and commercial industry for over seven years.
I started my career as a self-shooting director and camera operator, working on documentary based television series for the likes of Channel 4 and the BBC. After an introduction to the world of advertising, I worked for various production companies, developing a range of campaigns and managing shoots from production through to editing and delivery.
During my time in the commercials world, I have owned a reputable production company, fulfilled a Head of Film position for an international marketing agency and worked as a director for an award-winning film business. Through my experience, I have directed and operated commercials and branded content for the likes of JCB, Bosch, Coop Pharmacy, Massey Ferguson, Dixons Carphone, Greene King, Worcester Bosch, Electrolux and National Express.
As of 2020, I am the founder of The Barrett Film Company and I am on a mission to make premium film and video content for advertising accessible to everyone. Delivering full campaigns and projects with a team of hand-picked expert filmmakers, producers, marketeers and media buyers. I'm also available as a freelance director and self-shooter. I'm currently working on some exciting projects across the UK and would love to hear about yours.
