About me
As a personable and hard-working individual, I am always willing to learn new skills. I am honest, friendly, helpful and polite and have a good sense of humour. I have excellent communication skills, can manage my time effectively and am able to work independently in busy environments and also within a team setting. I am outgoing and tactful and able to listen effectively, I also have strong problem solving skills.
I have previous marketing and fundraising experience from helping to organise and host a football 5 aside tournament in order to raise money for Comic Relief. As group leader, my role involved leading on the planning with specific responsibility for the promotion of the event through advertising the tournament on social media platforms. I created posters and information leaflets and liaised with the venue GOALS regarding additional marketing opportunities to engage their existing customers. This proved pivotal to the event as managing the financial overheads required for delivery, was fully dependent on the amount of participants we could secure.
Other relevant experience was on show during my work experience with Harrogate Town where I worked closely with the management team with the objective of improving crowd attendance at home matches. Work included, the distribution of promotional materials including the advertisement for club sponsors.
