This role operates within the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for five administrative staff across two centres, managing the daily operation of both sites. In addition to high-level administrative and leadership support to 40+ staff, this role requires operational expertise across a myriad of portfolios; project and event management; generation of marketing and promotional collateral and resources for internal and external stakeholders; quality and risk management, including the development of policies, procedures and strategic work plans and the generation of monthly and quarterly reports; human resources, including the management of professional development, performance reviews, supervision and induction of new staff; public relations and stakeholder engagement, as the primary liaison for both headspace Adelaide and Noarlunga’s consortium and community partners; building and facility management as the key contact for all contractors, landlords and facility managers; all facets of WHS; local ICT support to all staff and visitors at both sites; asset procurement and financial reconcilliation.
This role was responsible for daily office coordination and provided high-level administrative support to mental health clinicians, general practitioners, psychiatrists and other allied health providers. In addition to this, it provided ICT support for a team of 10+ staff; managed social media accounts and website content; provided executive and stakeholder support to consortium and community partners; assisted with marketing and social media campaigns, generated clinical information resources and designed promotional collateral for print and digital media; managed projects and assisted with community events. For example, I was involved in the planning and promotion of the National Youth Week State Launch event and coordinated staff and volunteers on the day; due to the high-calibre nature of the event, there were more than 400 people in attendance and nearly 30 volunteer services involved at the half-day event. As a result, I was also seconded to independently project manage and coordinate SAFKI Medicare Local’s AGM, new facility opening and ‘Partners in Recovery’ program launch event which hosted in excess of 100 people.
