As the head of digital marketing across Lanzarote venues (The Shacklewell Arms, MOTH, CLUB, The Lock Tavern, The Waiting Room) I am responsible for developing social media content strategies in order to promote an ecclectic range of events across multiple genre's from live music and club nights to film, comedy and cabaret. This involves analysing insights and developing relationships with press and like minded brands in order to create relevant, engaging, creative content suitable for audiences across a number of different digital platforms.
Working with the team at Cornerstone and Converse in modernising the iconic 100 Club's digital presence, I have helped to develop strategies to promote the venue to a younger generation as well as reaffirming the connection to its history. Using social media and mail marketing analytics to maximise engagement, I create and share daily content in order to promote the venue's event calendar.
Managing the events calendar at The Waiting Room, my role included, actively seeking out new promoters and special events including record launches, secret shows, residencies and label showcases. Establishing relationships with key agents. Keeping abreast of music press. Looking after admin and budgeting. Booking and advancing stand alone shows. Artist liaison on night of event. Booking door staff and photographers. Managing ticketing outlets.
Managing a team of core writers and sub-editing articles. Updating daily content by securing song and video premieres. Forming media partnerships with venues and events.
