Achievements:
- Project managed the International Communications Market Report 2016, which benchmarks the UK’s communications sector against a range of international comparator countries. It is one of Ofcom’s most high profile reports and is highly valued by stakeholders within the communications industry (such as broadcasters and MNOs). The project showcased my excellent managerial ability to deliver a large-scale project made of multiple moving parts to hard publication deadlines. It also demonstrated my leadership skills as I managed a project team of 30 colleagues.
- Owned and managed the Media Tracker survey, a quarterly quantitative consumer survey which tracks UK adults’ attitudes towards and use of different types of media. My management of the agency was effective in ensuring fieldwork was completed on time and that the annual report was delivered against a hard publication date and to the expected quality.
- Edited the Internet & Online Content chapter of the Communications Market Report 2016, which demonstrated my proficiency to author documents to a high quality and write up complex analysis in a clear and concise manner.
