I am a published poet and a successful graduate of the MFA program in poetry at the University of Mississippi. Through workshops, publishing, and editing, I have collaborated with others to produce the best writing possible. I continually keep track of almost a hundred submission deadlines and regularly handle both acceptance and rejection with professionalism.
I currently work as an ESL teacher and grant manager with North Kansas City School's Adult Education Program. I teach ESL to adult English learners, including students from a nearby refugee center. I also ensure the program maintains funding in the state of Missouri.
I recently worked as a research analyst for the University of Arkansas, where I drafted bios and travel strategies that benefited the university's $1 billion fundraising goal. This effort required attentiveness, advanced writing skills, and daily goal-setting.
