James is a multi-disciplined editor based in Vancouver with a background in directing that has helped forge his technical and creative approach. His love of editing began when he filmed his childhood cat loopy on catnip and decided it would be infinitely better cut to Fat Freddy’s Drop.
Working predominantly in the world of commercials, music videos and branded content, his work has been featured on Vimeo Staff Pick, Short of the Week, Directors Library and has received nominations for UKMVA’s, Kinsale sharks, Berlin Music Video awards and 1.4.
