About me
I co-own a modest independent publishing company A Swift Exit, showcasing poets from around the globe. A Swift Exit’s first anthology, titled “Absent Ginsberg,” is available online at Amazon, where it held top spot on the Contemporary Poetry book chart.
My passion for reading regularly and writing as often as possible has lead to my creative work featuring within The Guardian, GUG Press’ “The London Spoken Word Anthology,” and alongside Amanda Palmer and Mark Townsend on notable blog MyOldMan.org. My professional work spans from journalistic pieces across various platforms, to copy for websites and editorial work for poetry books such as Absent Ginsberg and the 30th Ed. of the Columbia Poetry Review.
Generating event advertising for Scary Canary Ltd and freelance projects was a natural progression for my love of illustration, and I enjoy experimenting within Adobe Suite. My illustrations feature on band merchandise, The Guardian’s 2015 Alternative Election Posters, and Borderline Press’ graphic anthology “Zombre.”
I travel when possible, having recently visited several places in Europe, and across North America where I lived for a year between Chicago and New York. I enjoy writing, photographing and blogging about my travels, as well as socialising with people of various languages, cultures and walks of life.

- Absent Ginsberg - an anthology of international poetry Absent Ginsberg is an anthology of modern poetry from the respected 'a swift exit'. Collecting together new works by poets from the United Kingdom, Portugal, Denmark, France, China, Canada, New Zealand and the United States. Alongside first time writers are laureates, pop-stars and poetry academics. It is a dazzling collection of both formal and informal styles of poetry and is almost certain to contain your new favourite poem. Illustrations by Lou Wilson of 13 O'Clock and featuring poems by poet laureates, pop-stars, doctors and first-timers. I created 'a swift exit,' solicited poets, and published Absent Ginsberg within a year.

• Copyediting dozens of stories weekly for the No.1 non-daily newspaper in General Excellence, as recognised by the Illinois College Press Association.
• Active member of the editorial board and frequently produced content beyond listed duties, such as opinion pieces, regular book and concert reviews, and graphic illustrations.
• Responsible for ensuring the paper was free of grammatical, style and factual errors, and consistent with layout and design elements, to American Press Association and in-house standards, respectively.
• Working closely with journalists and desk editors to ensure the best work possible was presented in the final, weekly newspapers, across Arts & Culture, Campus and Metro desks.
• Notable issues include coverage of the 2016 US presidential election, and the 2016 baseball World Series Chicago Cubs win – first in 108 years.
