Hello! My name is James Hatcher and I am an Illustrator based in Bedfordshire, U.K.
I have a particular focus on producing visual communication for Editorial, Publishing and Advertising contexts. This is primarily through illustration, however i also dabble in the worlds of animation as well as design. Within my work, I have an aim to shy away from traditional stereotypes of what society is like and portray a more realistic and authentic view of the world we are living in today (or a world we should be striving for).
To create these images, I enjoy using a combination of both traditional and digital materials which I feel gives the illustrations an extra element of interest for the viewer. This is combined with subjects that often convey feelings of quietness and mindfulness, such as quiet observations of everyday life.
