- Balls Not BordersLast year I founded #BallsNotBorders with two friends — a youth-led activism group all about using football, music, and art to raise some dosh for Help Refugees. The final count is in: we raised £5598.15 in one day with one sweet tournament in east London to fund the Velos Youth Centre in Athens through Christmas!

I manage the Global Citizen UK Facebook (125k likes) and Twitter (11.k followers) channels, create daily engaging editorial and video content, assist digital advertising campaigns, and send bi-weekly content newsletters (125k subscribers).
I have also assisted building email campaigns, supported large-scale international events like the Global Citizen Festival in New York, Hamburg and London, and led a multi-territory longform multimedia project exploring female genital mutilation (FGM) in the UK, US, and Canada.

Selected from a pool of over 1,500 applicants, I supported the RCA Label Group UK marketing team and wider label across domestic and international imports, encompassing complex digital strategies in the public eye.
The role operated in a high pressure working environment, where time management and organisational skills were vital to succeeding within a constant series of very tight deadlines. However, there was also a refreshing space for creativity, as brainstorms, planning meetings, and workshops allowed a genuine contribution to the progress of artist campaigns including Nothing But Thieves, Kodaline, and Everything Everything — and international projects like Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, and Pharrell Williams.
Day to day marketing responsibilities involved raising purchase orders, organising promotional materials, collating ticket buys, planning artist schedules, handling budgets, creating meeting agendas, monitoring social media, predicting digital trends, and filing marketing and sales reports.
