This role has allowed me to develop my design skills both independently and collaboratively, working pro-actively as part of a team on projects for some of the UK’s biggest high street brands, this led me to explore and adapt to different design handwritings for various companies. The key skills/ responsibilities include assisting the designers with projects across all design areas and more independently within menswear. Researching trends, creating trend reports and mood boards. Independently designing and developing existing designs and creating tech packs. Sourcing fabrics and working closely with the in -house sample unit and pattern cutters to ensure a design is correctly followed through
