About me
I am an experienced film festival and exhibition professional, and events and conferences creative producer.
Most recently I did some business development consultancy for the good team at Together Films, to help them in their endeavour to ensure quality films reach as wide an audience as possible.
Earlier in 2018, I produced the second Edition of CogX: the largest Festival of AI in Europe: two days; 300+ speakers; 100+ exhibitors; 6k attendees. Prior to that, I directed four editions of the Cork Film Festival; I directed the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2011; and I was Creative Director of Shooting People from 2006 to 2010.
I lecture on the UK, EU and global film industries, concentrating on film festival strategy, and teaching emerging film professionals how to build do-it-yourself marketing and distribution plans. I have delivered such sessions many times, including for BAFTA , New Horizons Film Festival (Wrocław); International Festival of Cinema, Puerto Vallarta (Jalisco, Mexico); London Short Film Festival and Developing Your Film Festival (Independent Cinema Office, UK).

I led production of this, the biggest festival of Artificial Intelligence in Europe: £1.5m+ budget; 6.5k+ delegates; 300+ speakers; 20+ piece art show; 7 stages; and with 70+ AI Awards handed out.
