Working at Mad Dog Casting I assisted the project manger working on the feature film ‘Tarzan’ produced by Warner Brothers. It was my role to put forward actors for background artist roles. This role included sending out enquiries, making look books and sending them to casting directors, ensuring I had met their brief to provide them the options of looks they were after. I also sent travel, call times and check in’s to make sure the talent arrived on time to the set and location.
Assisting the agency by keeping contracts, pitches and treatments for clients filed and organised. Answering and directing calls. Sending e-mails on behalf of the talent to fans and production companies. Updating the websites blog and twitter feed. Inputing the quarterly invoices. Managing the online calendar, arranging meetings and using the program Agent File to update details of clients and producers.
o Used File maker Pro to record phone calls and type up details, updating the relevant agent’s phone list o Searched Spotlight for appropriate castings, and ensuring against job clashes o Kept records of petty cash spending and receipts o Forwarding of fan mail o Kept a tidy well stocked and welcoming office environment
