Hi, I’m James and thanks for taking the time to look at my work. It is my passion and absolute pleasure to capture the story of your day presented in a beautiful, timeless and story driven cinematic film that you can treasure forever.
My style of videography is simple. I film alone with minimal and unobtrusive equipment allowing me to capture candid and natural moments (you’ll barely notice I’m there) of your entire day.
There are many elements that I believe create the perfect wedding film; light, composition, story and sound. The music in particular plays a huge part in my films - I am a published music composer so like to think my taste sets me apart and each song choice is painstakingly searched for and (legally!) licensed to fit your unique personality.
I offer bespoke and uncomplicated packages for each of my couples which can range from a highlights only film all the way through to a feature film and full ceremony and speeches edits. Your wedding film will be crafted with your unique personalities, story and wedding day in mind and one of my great pleasures is to capture the essence of YOU in your film.
I am based in the UK and cover nationwide. I also love to travel so actively encourage destination weddings!

- Nancy & Nic || A Calke Abbey Wedding FilmCalke Abbey is a venue that I have been eager to film at for some time - the grounds and buildings are stunning and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to film on their wedding day. Nancy & Nic are so much fun, the whole day was relaxed, beautiful and full of laughter and it was a pleasure to be a part of. The day was full of beautiful touches - from the amazing singing from Nic’s sister to the hilarious and touching speeches, betting slips and wonderful walk around the grounds.
