About me
I am a London based Screenwriter and VFX Artist with over 13 years of industry experience. My 13+ years in the post production industry has given me some unique qualities when writing. The most important being, how to tell a narrative in the most economical way, without sacrificing depth or character. Along with this I always approach my writing with visual and cinematic flare. I believe collaboration is an important role in post production but even more so in TV and Film and I always strive to work with and benefit from the talents of the people around me to better the work at hand. I am currently developing a British Drama/Scifi TV show whilst continuing to create and write new ideas for TV and Film.

I have spent the last 12 months freelancing at Time Based Arts. With my extensive experience I have been able to integrate into any team and take on any responsibility. My decision to go freelance was to focus on my writing and it gave me the opportunity to work and finish a Masters degree in screenwriting.

     - London, United KingdomFull Time
I came to Neon as their Senior 3d artist, working on all aspects of the projects that came in, this included collaborating with the creative directors, aiding in writing pitches and treatments to help win jobs. I had the responsibility of leading almost all the 3d work that passed through the studio, tasked with making sure deadlines were met and the highest quality of work was produced. This was a small studio and I was expected to manage my own time. I quoted and scheduled jobs alongside my creative role.

M.A Screenwriting Film & TVRoyal Holloway, University of London
     - Egham, United Kingdom
During my year here I produced a spec TV Pilot and episode 2, along with a series bible outlining its continuation. I worked closely with my tutor who acted as my script and story editor, helping me refine my drafts and end up with a professional end result that is being well received in the industry. I improved the development and structuring of my ideas and managed to write and produce a live action short alongside my final Master project. I had the opportunity to develop and pitch my ideas to many executives and agents and became adept at concisely but imaginatively pitching complex narratives, making them understandable and entertaining.

Over the 6 months we covered the finer points of film theory and structure. I became skilled at outlining my ideas, be them for feature or TV, understanding what would and wouldn’t work at script level.
