I’m a creative experience driven London based Events Producer.
Currently part of the Zoological Society of London’s Events Team. I have been a big part of range of events from gala dinners to summer evening festivals. All hosted at high profile venues around London for a variety of guests including HM The Queen.
Projects
- Zoo NightsZoo Nights is ZSL London Zoo's Flagship event. Hosting 5,000 guests each night to enjoy the Zoo after hours. I took inspiration from the animal kingdom world to create lighting set ups and photo ops to mimic the Bioluminescence creatures who use light to prosper through life. As the sun set over London the Zoo guests were treated to the magical surroundings of the Zoo at night. A key part of this event is the word food market put together by myself, bringing some of the best food vendor’s from around the capital to trade. All topped off with some funky beats, emissive performers and Zoo Cocktails.

Event Assistant

Working as part of a commercial Events team, I have had a key role in developing and delivering a busy events schedule including events such as Zoo Nights, Zoorassic Park Experience and Santander’s summer cycle weekend. With a total income of over £500,000 and boosting daily visitor numbers on events by up to 70%. I have brought creative design ideas to the team as well as a sound knowledge of all aspects of event management.
• Develop new event ideas as well as constantly evolving existing events to keep them competitive in the current market.
• Design and build themed areas for events.
• Coordinating with production companies to create engaging designs to enhance the visitor experience at events. Managing the theming budget and negotiating deals with a number of companies.
• Coordinate on then day event logistics, liaising with contractors including AV, props companies, caterers, security, performers and suppliers.
• Designed and developed the Zoo Nights world food market, selecting food vendors to trade each night. Managing the whole process including contracts and invoicing with a with revenue target of £50K.
• Liaise with the digital team to create online content for the ZSL event pages and social media channels.
• Creating detailed and exciting event proposals for new events on site.
Special Events Assistant

After initially working as an intern I was rapidly promoted to Special Events Assistant and played a crucial role in the final planning stages and implementation of the Roll out the Red Ball. Responsible for tickets, guest lists, up selling tables, on the day event management and Securing auction prize donations totalling over £75,000.
• Developing a detailed guest list and venue plan to meet guests needs, being the main contact for all guests attending the event, solving any queries via the pre event as well as on the night.
• Supporting with press releases to promote the event. Drafting web content post event for the BHF’s website to summarise the success of Roll out the Red and to register interest for Roll out the Red 2016.
• Working with an external company, iBid, to produce an online silent auction, managing all data onto the online site, monitoring and modifying as and when needed.
• Coordinating with venue security, briefing them on high profile guests, press and celebrities attending the event.
• Leading the beneficiary events programme. This involved researching and contacting BHF related organisations, and creating engaging promotional materials.
