About me
I have over five years experience working as a social media strategist and copywriter for major international clients and thriving start-ups. My experience as a social media strategist includes producing image, video and infographic content. I have managed the budgets and workflow for the creative teams who were producing these assets, across multiple campaigns. I have worked as a copy and content editor for the two London-based agencies, working on company blogs, newsletters and external client facing communications. My copywriting experience includes SEO for websites, utilising keywords and Google Analytics to form an effective copy style. My approach to building a brand tone for digital comms is based on social analytics—both native and via the use of metrics tools such as: Sysomos, Hootsuite, Sprout Social and others. I have expert knowledge of all of the major social media platforms—and have worked directly with the teams at Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat in London. Outside of client work, I edit an illustrated short fiction online publication called In Shades Magazine. We publish short stories and six-word stories, working with a number of talented illustrators to bring a distinctive visual style to the project. In Shades Magazine has been featured in influential design blog It’s Nice That and has received praise from several other publications.

Designed to educate bar staff on a variety of topics such as how to pull the perfect pint, maintain a cellar and tell the difference between an I.P.A. from a stout.
