About me
I am a creative photographer, with a deep understanding of light. I bring creativity and passion to all my work, and take this with me on every job. My conceptual portraiture has featured in Creative Review and the photography book Context and Narrative in Photography by AVA Publishing and Bloomsbury UK.
I am highly skilled in stills and video lighting, be it in studio or on location using flash and continuous lights, and equally skilled using ambient/natural light.
I have been the exclusive (on model) online photographer for TOM FORD, for 2 years. I design all lighting set-ups, and shoot a range of products from handbags to jewellery, all shot on models.
I work with major high street retailers, such as, John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, L.K. Bennett as well as small independents like Cheats and Thieves and Abuze London.
Shooting their e-com, banner ads and POS.
I also work with many music artists and labels. Shooting their EP covers and press releases, for all media. My clients include Island Records, Blue Flowers, So Solid Crew, Prolifica music management, and Kitsune.
My most recent editorial was shooting for the Fan magazine, plus their look-book, which then featured in Vogue, I-D and Dazed and Confused magazines.
I have also art directed videos for Marks and Spencer fashion and Tank magazines online fashion, as well as beauty tutorials for becauselondon.com.
I enjoy working closely with clients, and have a thorough understanding of running shoots, and shoot etiquette. Which means I am able to adapt, read situations, and use my initiative to resolve any unforeseen problems.
I also really enjoy working as part of a team, whilst being able to take control when required.
I am competent in Capture One and Photoshop from working for clients needing these extra skills, plus image selection, processing and retouch notes.
