About me
am a presenter, voiceover artist and lifestyle journalist, with production experience.
I hold a Masters degree in English Literature, and work as a freelance writer, mainly covering drinks/bars, and also write creatively - performing spoken word in at open mic nights in my spare time. I also work as a social media/development consultant - which gives me the freedom to craft and express creative ideas.
I presented and produced an online cocktail programme, on TTA.TV, were I scripted, researched, booked and interviewed guests - often talented bartenders, well-known and respected within the industry. I Hosted my own magazine-style radio show on Hoxton FM, where I also took on production roles such as compiling playlists, generating content and arranging guests.
I am currently the voice of Burt’s Bees Lip Balm, ‘Flavour Uncapped’ advertising campaign and a speaking performer during September-November run of immersive theatre experience ‘You Me Bum Bum Train’, where I connect with the audience. I also gained experience as a runner, scene leader and assisting with production.
I have been a lifestyle writer for the past few years, mainly for Londonist, and other publications such as Metro Online, Huffington Post and Barchick, covering cocktails, Asian cuisine and performance. I also arrange press appointments, interviews and conduct research. Liaising with other journalists and press representatives often has honed my networking skills. In addition, I proof-read and set the layout and presentation of my work on Wordpress, and this has enabled me to develop a keen eye for detail. I am also fully capable of meeting deadlines, and often work with time-sensitive material.
I have good verbal/written communication and organisational skills. Having lived in Japan, I have a strong work ethic & excellent punctuality. I am very analytical, out-going, I love working with people, solving problems and am very passionate about production/presenting.
