Freelance production and fashion assistant – Avenue 32 (London, UK) I was asked back by the Editor in Chief (Romilly Mason) in a freelance role as the fashion/production assistant at Avenue 32 • Being a contributor to issue 7 of the Avenue 32 magazine • Assisting the Editor in Chief on producing the fashion and stills shoots for the Avenue 32 online website & publication. • Doing the shoot preparation such as requesting sample call ins, liaising with fashion PR companies, sourcing set designs & props • Organising domestic and international couriers for sample & stock returns • Follow up on sample requests made by the Editor in Chief • Doing the casting of models and arrange regular go-see's with models from leading UK model agencies • Option and booking the entire shoot team including the model, hair stylist & make up artist • Assisting the editor in chief on set • Booking the travel and transportation for shoots • Picture research to find images for Avenue 32's social media outlets • Compiling mood boards for meetings and photo shoots • Supervising the fashion cupboard, kit and equipment • Handling shoot expenses & general administrative duties such as dockets from call ins & returns
