About me
Arts Programmer based in Bristol. Currently assisting on the development, planning and implementation of a diverse year-round programme of performance events, cinema and community activities at The Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton, Somerset. I have an MA in Curating and a particular interest in designing multi-disciplinary, creative arts programmes to achieve aims of placemaking and cultural enrichment in rural areas.

Administration:
• Drafting, issuing and tracking contracts for all visiting companies
• Researching, producing and maintaining an accommodation list for visiting companies
• Updating and reviewing in-house event management system
• Applying for and processing child performance licenses in liaison with the local authority and families
• Other administrative and desk research support as required by Artistic Team
Event Management:
• Setting up rooms for events which form part of our regular schedule of activities
• Supporting the team in producing the annual Christmas production
• Assisting with installation and take down of exhibitions
• Assisting at the Box Office and Front of House in the event of volunteer shortages
• Project Managing elements of the programme when requested
Communication:
• Responding to all programming inquiries and dealing with unsolicited submissions
Other:
• Facilitating regular storytelling sessions for under 5's and their parents
• Acting as a licensed chaperone on productions

A year-long placement with Encounters Film Festival in Bristol, as required by the MA Curating course at UWE Bristol. The placement involved:
• Taking the lead on my own projects, such as curating a programme of short film with We The Curious for 'The Big Screen' in Millennium Square, Bristol
• A final major project, for which I produced a cinema & live storytelling event called 'FOLK cinema' on behalf of Encounters in November 2018
• Paid employment as a festival assistant during the month of September which involved helping coordinating a busy programme of events for industry professionals and members of the public at the Watershed Cinema, Bristol
