Bonjour!
Janelle Burger is a freelance illustrator based in Paris, France. Living in one of the world’s foremost fashion capitals, her work naturally revolves around the haute couture and ready-to-wear looks featured on the runways of Paris. However, her illustrations do not focus merely on sartorial accoutrements, but also extend to drawings of nostalgic 80s objects, tongue-in-cheek references to hipster goods and illustrative recreations of dishes from the menu of New York restaurant Momofuku. In particular, her Italian background and love for food mean that she is just as likely to draw the objects on her plate as those on the catwalk.
Janelle’s work is informed by a fondness for Japanese culture, pop aesthetics and a dry sense of humour, and has graced the covers of the city guides of Australian company Urban Walkabout, the pages of Elena Murzello’s book The Love List: A Guide to Getting Who You Want and the wrapping paper for online boutique, Shop Super Street.
When she is not drawing Janelle rides her bicycle around Paris, often stopping to take photos of street cats and old men wearing berets. She is available for commission work, collaboration and others freelance opportunities.

With 14-years experience in magazine publishing in Australia, UK and Asia, Katie has first hand experience of bringing ideas to life with illustration and understands that art directors need a simple method of commissioning or licensing quality images in confidence.
