- we're here because we're hereOn 1 July, 1400 soldiers in the First World War uniform appeared unexpectedly across the UK. The soldiers were silent, but handed out cards to the public with the name of a soldier who died on the first day of the Somme. The card also contained the hashtag '#wearehere'. The event became an international phenomenon.29

Costume designer working on a freelance basis designing student short films. My responsibilities include liaising and being in conversation with the director and art direction to create a unique and interesting ‘world’ for the film. During prep days I am sourcing and creating outfits for all characters, setting up fittings, altering and adapting costumes and creating small props and headpieces for costumes. On shoot days I am responsible for continuity, changes and preparation of all costumes.
