About me

After moving from the direction of fine art and illustration to a fashion design route for my degree, I am a creative with interests in illustration, the fashion industry, tailoring and design. With over 5 years experience of retail environments, including luxury retail, I have gained a good breadth of knowledge in terms of sales and customer service. This includes in-depth training on material knowledge, tailoring skills and clientelling techniques. I chose to study fashion design 3 years ago and have since become passionate about encouraging change within the industry as well as from the wider customer base towards making more considered and sustainable choices in relation to production and consumption. This ethos is something that I have reflected on within my own work and shall continue to do so. Outside of my creative life, I enjoy practicing mindfulness, yoga sustainability. As well as being passionate about reading. I enjoy keeping busy and am always searching to learn something new, wether this be through travelling, cooking, reading or learning a new language.
