    During my time at Wavemaker Toronto, I was an integral part of the planning team for KFC, Pizza Hut & Taco Bell Canada. I built strong relationships with clients and was a key part of the media planning process, presentations and weekly meetings. My manager pushed me to grow and helped further extend my skillset, most beneficial of that being able to captivate an audience with persuasive story telling. I was the go to person to conduct research for our team and had extensive training in all of Wavemaker's Proprietary tools. My role included assisting with financial forecasting, sourcing the right partners, generating and analyzing pre and post campaign reports which then helped us determine future tactics. I was heavily involved in the culture of wavemaker and was a part of every charity day, fundraiser and every sporting event that was made available. My time at Wavemaker allowed me to grow and further my expertise in the world of media. Key Responsibilities of the Role: Work closely with the Senior Planner, Client Business Lead and Manager to prepare all channel (digital, print, OOH, broadcast) media plans inclusive of; target and geography analysis, budget allocation across channels, scheduling, support levels, developing and reviewing RFPs, program/site selection and reporting Effectively uses agency’s proprietary planning process to fuel strategy and insights Explore and evaluate new media opportunities and determine how they fit within client business objects and budgets Maintain client contact/manage client requests – i.e. plan changes, budget changes, provide marketplace information Assist in the facilitation of competitive analysis as required Assist in Developing agency points of view on media opportunities for submission to the client Play a key role in the budget and client billing process to ensure accuracy Write and maintain status and contact reports to ensure efficient workflow to meet deadlines
