Cameraman & Video EditorThe Sunday Menu
United KingdomFreelance
The Sunday Menu is a food business that serves authentic Nigerian infused cuisine. The client hired me to film the process of cooking the food and also editing it in order for the customers to get a preview of the recipes on YouTube.
I made sure to have a the client view the first draft before uploading so I can get back any feedback. We did this over the phone and in person at times. I noted the feedback and worked on it to make sure it was up to standard.
After feedback I improved the colour grading so the video could have a more pop of colour that was appealing to the eye of the viewer. Also in order for the the viewership to go up unnecessary silences were removed so that it caters to the audience.

The RARE podcast is a fresh UK based podcast, which tackles topics ranging from general conversations about pop culture to more thoughtful commentary on social politics. I took on the role of editor as the host wanted the podcast to be more interactive.
I brought fresh ideas to the table in order to get the viewers to come back. I added pops ups of the host and co-hosts names in the beginning of the video so the audience would know who they are. I’m in charge of syncing the audio to the video to get it precisely on point and I take care of creating eye catching thumbnails so that people browsing will be drawn to it

BA (Hons) Film and Television ProductionUniversity of Hertfordshire

Over the 3 years at the university i built on my knowledge of the the film industry. I became comfortable using cameras such as Blackmagic and using editing softwares, Avid and Adobe Premiere. The experience taught me how to work as a team and feed off each others ideas when we're given a deadline. From these skills I am ready to take them on in the real world and expand on them.
