About me
A Project Manager with 4.5 years of experience in successfully delivering a range of complex, technical and challenging projects. At times working in a Prince2, Waterfall, and Agile environment – and often a hybrid of the latter two. My digital experience comes from managing projects from the ‘other’ side. Working for the European Union allowed me to gain access and manage a wide range of digital projects – most notably the complete rebrand and redesign of a number of companies/projects, and finally the complete redesign of Climate-KIC’s own website (https://www.climate-kic.org/).
I began my career in 2014 for Climate-KIC, the European Union’s main climate innovation initiative, as a Project Co-ordinator organising an international climate change conference for over 800 attendees in Valencia. I was quickly promoted to become the UK & Ireland's Innovation Project Manager. I’ve been responsible for the successful delivery of over 25 UK led projects contributing to climate change mitigation/adaptation – managing a total accumulative budget of just over €19M. Alongside this role I was responsible for supporting the UK & Ireland's strategic engagement in four cities (London, Dublin, Edinburgh and Birmingham), establishing and then coordinating the successful operation of four clean-tech clusters. I was also tasked on an interim basis with managing partner relations for the UK & Ireland, forging and maintaining strategic relationships with key UK & Ireland partners, including Imperial College London, Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC), BT plc and Sainsbury's, to name a few.
After four years at Climate-KIC, I accepted an interim position with Oasis HUB, a pioneering global risk and climate adaptation information solution. I was asked to join the team for a period of 12 months to improve the company’s market position and initiate several key projects and campaigns. One project was the complete redesign of the company’s UI and UX – an ongoing process.
