Hello, I’m Jay!
I’ve been working as a junior designer for Truant London since September 2021.
I graduated from Newcastle College University Centre with a 1:1 in Visual Communications in, before going on to study at Ravensbourne London, where I graduated with a 1:1 in Graphic Design in.
I have a great interest in electronic dance music, enjoying a multitude of different styles from across the scene. I gather inspiration from music festivals across the world and have a particular passion for audio-reactive graphics, which is something I work on during my free time.
As well as music - politics, race, and heritage are constant
themes throughout my personal projects.
During my time at Truant London I have developed my core graphic design skills including typography, layout and balance. I have had great opportunities to work on print, digital and OOH projects for clients such as Pizza Express, GWI, Royal Caribbean, Lickd, MHR, and Material Focus.
Truant has also allowed me to experiment and enhance my motion graphics skills for internal projects and branding assets.
