I am an enthusiastic, professional, creative individual who is looking to take forward a career in commercial partnerships and account management. Drawing on my skills nurtured in the charity sector, dealing with high net-worth individuals and high value corporate partnerships, I am looking for a new role outside of the charity world.
• Account Manager for a portfolio of Corporate Partnerships (made up of commercial, sponsorship and employee engagement), including the organizations’ biggest corporate partner to the value of £2.3m • Lead on Business Development and winning new corporate partnerships through pitches, meetings and building relationships with key stakeholders • Implementing and developing the charity’s High Net-Worth strategy • Building a network of Ambassadors to create the Corporate and Major donor Pipeline • Cultivating prospective Major Donors and Corporate partners through existing and new targeted events.
• Account Manager for Children with Cancer UK’s biggest Corporate partner, to the value of £2.3m • Account Manager for a broad portfolio of brands including Toys R Us, One Aldwych and Barclays • I also play an active role in New Business, where I work towards monthly KPI’s to approach companies and win partnerships • I have worked collaboratively on the team's strategy and have played a role in implementing this into our work activity • I pride myself on delivering excellent written, verbal and visual communications, including presentations to large audiences, running campaigns, creating and maximising PR opportunities and delivering successful events.
• Relationship management of Major Corporate Partners and Major Donors • Working towards an individual fundraising target of £350,000 • Building stewardship plans for partners and donors, setting goals and objectives • Creating and delivering bespoke reports, proposals and presentations for existing and new relationships • Researching prospective partners and their stake holders, both reactively and proactively, understanding synergies between the charity and the company’s social responsibility • Playing an active role at cultivation events and engaging in conversation • Implementing Project Management to ensure the delivery of smooth and effective events and projects • Accompanying partners on overseas visits to see the work of Hope and Homes for Children • Being part of the project team to deliver the Ten Stores Challenge www.tenstores.com where I developed relationships with luxury brands such as Fortnum & Mason, Anya Hindmarch & Selfridges
• Relationship Management of Mid-High Value Corporate Partners and Donors • Experience in events and project management • Using tools such as Wealth Engine and Mouse Price to prospect research • Managing the workload of interns and volunteers • Administrative responsibilities and thorough experience of Microsoft Office and The Raisers Edge • Preparing, tailoring and sending out 7 mailings a year • Producing monthly forecast reports, working with financial income, targets and budgets • Training: - Attendance at annual Institute of Fundraising conferences. - Law Cube: to understand what fundraisers are legally entitled to, June 2013 - Project Management September 2012
