The Sharps programme helps train young and disadvantaged people to help propel them into the music industry. We are taught creative skills such as photography, videography, adobe editing suits, marketing and graphics. In addition, we are taught admin skills necessary for any industry job. We also have access to a range of guest speakers from both major and independent labels that help us learn all about the workings of different roles within music and how labels operate. We also have the opportunity to work events such as Music Week, Great Escape Festival and more, whilst also having many networking opportunities. At the end of the programme, we have the chance to put on our own event, teaching us all the skills to organise and run events. It is a very well recognised programme within the music industry and is bespoke to each individual that comes through the programme.
