About me
My names is Jean Clara the resident head chef of the Sloe kitchen an events and catering company. My culinary background and career started in the Michelin star restaurant St John Smithfield. This is where my culinary skills were truly honed. I trained at the renowned Leith’s school of food and wine where I also achieved my level 2 sommelier badge and since have worked all over the private sector.
My memories of growing up on a farm in the west coast of Ireland is where my belief of ‘head to toe’ cooking was seeded and my Peruvian heritage is where I draws inspiration daily. My menus and dishes are here to impress and are sure to make your event as memorable as can be.
This is why in 2015 when I discovered the Slow Movement and decided to truly embrace its ethos and forge a future in the movement.
