I'm a London based Director of Photography with several years experience in the professional industry following the traditional department ascension.
I approach each project with the motivation of giving it its own identity with the use of light, camera movement and composition. My aim is to work around characters and their motives with the use of visual language, ultimately translating the words in a script into pictures on screen. Characters' emotion along with the mood and atmosphere of the scene are my motivation of how I light the scene or frame the shot.
Born in Germany , raised in Tenerife and studied the UK. I speak fluent German, Spanish and English.

- Ladon | Short FilmAs we drift through a mythical forest, a sense of fantasy arises when an intriguing apple starts to attract a body of lizard. Loosely revisiting the Greek myth of Ladon and the Garden of the Hesperides, observational sequences of Dragon Trees and creature-like reptiles evoke the mystical stories and symbols associated to them. With its tale-like narration, ‘Ladon’ is a reflection on physical existence in relation to the beliefs constructed behind it.
- Escondida | Price Winning Short FilmEscondida follows three children playing hide and seek in UNESCO’s world heritage site of Ilha de Moçambique. Wandering through the vast, beautiful and often surreal landscapes, discovering the many abandoned buildings and ruins forgotten by the colonial Portuguese, Escondida questions notions of past, absence, memory and identity

- The Incantatory Magic of the Symbolic Gesture | VideoIn “Le merveilleux et le théâtre du silence” (1965), Marie-Françoise Christout states that “the ideal mime recreates the world through the incantatory magic of the symbolic gesture”. This work depicts a direct interpretation of the concept of imprisonment, in response to the current pandemic situation, through a mime performing in a never ending tunnel. Questioning claustrophobia in a broader spectrum (from our over-use of technology, to the typical image of the mime stuck inside the box), repet
