I am a motivated, hard working employee looking for a new role. I am currently based in Lincoln but looking to relocate.
I am looking to progress and grow in a creative field where I can find a fulfilling, long-term role that I am passionate about, where I can enjoy my day-to-day and care about the company that I am working for- preferably somewhere that would allow the opportunity of progression into a higher role within the company but more importantly; somewhere I can gain new experience and skills and be given the opportunity to show I can thrive in the creative industries .
I currently work in an office environment in an administrative role as customer service / sales support at Ruddocks Design and Print. My responsibilities involve liaising with our customers to answer any queries or requests and I am a main point of contact for a couple of our larger clients including Macdonald Hotels. Whilst working here I have continued to develop my organisational skills whilst learning to use new systems and maintaining a professional demeanour that I acquired from previous roles in busy catering and retail environments. I am also able to work well under pressure handling complex projects that require a short turnaround with a close deadline.
Outside of my work I am a freelance photographer putting my degree in Contemporary Lens Media to use, but this is a role which has never interrupted my duties as an employee. It is my passion for this work and interest in the art industry which has driven me forward and has lead me to looking for a full-time position in this field. It is also work experience which has helped me understand the importance of maintaining a professional, presentable appearance. Working with clients closely has shown me how to help customers achieve exactly what they are looking for and how to demonstrate my ideas. It is a role in which I am able to show my intuitive nature and flair for creativity- something which I bring to any position I am appointed to.
In my spare time I like to read and will often take hikes and walks over the weekend, I have also recently taken to bead weaving after years of indulging in my hobby of jewellery making whilst making a determined attempt to watch everything on my Netflix list.
I am currently volunteering at Weirfield Wildlife Hospital in Lincoln where I help to look after the injured animals that arrive until they are healthy and ready to be released and mainly feed the infants and clean out enclosures whilst keeping track of the young animals' weight gain.

During my time volunteering for the digital arts festival The Frequency Festival with Threshold Studios it was part of my role as a documentary photographer/ videographer to interview members of the public who attended the events and exhibitions to gather information about their interest in the digital arts and their thoughts on the festival. These were used to advertise and promote the festival. I also:
Helped the audience by guiding them to venues around the city
Maintained visitor information at the venues
Worked with the artists to set up their exhibitions or interview them for short promotional videos.
