As project manager at Clerkenwell London I oversee ‘Design Undefined’ which brings together some of the most inventive design thinkers of today. These projects include the running of events at Clerkenwell Design Week and London Design Festival for Clerkenwell London.
I supported the outgoing CEO of a world leading technology company that took the company from 100 employees to over 850 in 17 territories in the four years I worked with him; I also ensured the correct coordination of travel arrangements and global conferences for the entire company. This led to one of my career highlights single-handedly organising three high profile conferences in Boston, Tokyo and Vancouver. This involved finding a suitable conference venue, three-day agenda, accommodation and flights for UK and International staff. With the accurate management of my team we facilitate the efficient day to day running of the executive office. I have maintained this role and support the new CEO in the same capacity.
Duties and skills: The role revolved around managing and maintaining relationships with artists, their management team and venues via clear and concise communication. As part of this my role and duties included negotiating contracts, booking travel and accommodation for artists, settlement of accounts and preparing venues pre and post event. This role assisted me in developing numerous skills such as; operating effectively within a large team, working under pressure whilst still maintaining a high standard, and dealing with problems efficiently.
Duties and skills: During my time with Alice Menter I was part of a small multi-faced design team that helped design, produce and distribute her range of contemporary jewellery. Thanks to this I was repeatedly exposed to a fast paced, deadline based work environment that included helping create intricate high-end fashion jewellery, liaising with prospective clients and attending fashion industry shows, including London Fashion Week, in order to help market products. These experiences helped develop my communication skills and my ability to work flexibly within a small team.
