I am a Visual Communication postgraduate at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London with bachelor degree in Fashion Design and Development at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. During 5 years of my studies I managed to obtain valuable knowledge and experience related to various aspects of graphic design: editorial design, typography, brand design, information design, environmental design and visual language and grammar. These explored productions of visual materials from concept to print ready artwork which required extensive knowledge of book designing, printing, binding and finishing; design and production of posters, fliers, event branding, signage, logos, packaging, brochures and websites. Besides handmade techniques, for most part of the design processes I employ my knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite CC: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign in particular. Additionally, I am fully versed in both Mac and PC operating systems; I am experienced in Microsoft Office and I have basic understanding of HTML coding and CMS systems. Moreover, I have been exploring my interest in photography.
As a full time graphic designer during my last employment I was designing for a variety of media including email, web, social media and print. I collaborated with the Marketing and Social Media executive on commercial projects which provided me with valuable experience in running online campaigns for which I was in charge of creating digital assets such as adverts, weekly email newsletters, web banners, social media posts and printed collateral for the brand. The content updates of the internal website platform were also my responsibility.
I consider myself to be hard-working, well-focused, enthusiastic, self-motivated, logical, effective, creative and communicative designer with strong attention to detail who can work well under pressure and in a collaborative team environment or individually. My focus is on developing solutions that are visually appealing and in consonance with the vision and values of my clients.
