    TREND RESEARCH & ANALYSIS • Solely responsible for presenting monthly trend round ups to the company's Buying & Design teams and identifying opportunities and threats in both new products and wider retail trends. • Carrying out trend research using lifestyle blogs, social media, etc. and presenting relevant fashion, styling, product, material, textile, colour and influencer trends as well as delivering detailed reports from catwalks relevant for DCK brands. • Carrying out regular, focussed, competitive shops (in-store, exhibitions, trade shows, online, music festivals) and reporting findings to wider design and buying teams. • Experience in delivering engaging trend presentations to over 200+ people from all areas of the DCK business in a conference scenario, as well as large groups of university students. MEN’S BRANDS - Topman, River Island, Burton, Hikari, Erase, Uncommon Souls • I am the sole designer for all Men’s jewellery brands working closely alongside the Senior Men’s Buyer. • Preparing for and attending seasonal meetings with the Directors of Topman. • Attending Far East development trips, sourcing new components in markets and building / designing ranges at supplier factories in Qingdao, China. FREEDOM @ Topshop • Creating and building into our original trend stories for 8 main collections per year as well as reacting quickly to emerging and current trends. • Designing; Earrings, Neckwear, Bodywear, Wristwear, Rings, Hair Accessories, Brooches, Enamel Pins, Keyrings, Embroidered Patches, Make Up Brushes, Coin Purses, Compact Mirrors, Tote Bags, etc • Producing detailed product spec sheets using Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign. • Designing and making product prototypes by hand using a range of specialist tools. • Mocking up new ‘sentimental’ product and packaging concepts. • Producing moodboards, trend / development packs and component sourcing packs to send to China and India and following up the development and delivery process. • Sourcing components at vintage markets. • Regularly researching and presenting ideas for the brand’s Instagram account. • Photoshoot production, organisation and styling.

    100% Optical x RCA Eyewear Design WinnerRoyal College of Art
    I was the 1st place winner selected from over seventy submissions to produce a wearable prototype of my 'Couture' category eyewear design. It was a unanimous decision from the judging panel made up of; Flora McLean (House of Flora), Jason Kirk (Kirk&Kirk), Emma Montague (Studio Montague) and Lawrence Jenkin (Lawrence Jenkin Spectacle Maker). These frames were exhibited at London's 100% Optical Eyewear Trade Show in February 2016.
