About me
I am a career personal assistant who has supported entrepreneurs and fund managers alike. I am creative, detailed deadline driven and looking for a role within a company that has imbedded values and supports development. Biography – Jennifer Adams – Career Executive Assistant & Office Manager I have over 7 years’ experience working as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager, supporting the C level management, Board Members and Global Directors within various industries across retail, e Commerce, Property and Finance. I have developed my skills to a high standard to support these individuals working in a strategic, confidential, fast paced manner, learning the individual working methods to quickly ascertain and support as efficiently as possible, combined with the multifaceted coordinator roles including Office Management, HR and events. On a daily basis I manage multiple, ever changing diaries, over various time zones, working in a detailed and efficient manner. I am proficient in organising difficult travel itineraries and logistics, internationally and domestically, working closely with travel managers and also independently, wherever budget is paramount. Equally, I collate and distribute meeting agendas, minutes and decks to support my senior team and have transparency over all departments. I work discreetly and professionally to suit my managers business needs, strategically implementing plans to ensure their time is managed efficiently. This entails building my own knowledge of the business being transparent, and familiarising myself with clients and projects, also building and maintaining strong bonds with the CEO’s direct reports in all departmental positons across the business. Managing the inboxes of C level managers means I am a strong communicator, both written and verbally, and I am privy to many highly confidential matters. Building trust at this level is paramount, and in my experience, one of the most vital parts of being a true right hand PA. Included in my experience is my Office Management and events organisation skills, as part of the PA/EA career these work hand in hand in most roles I have had. Managing sales conferences with 200 plus delegates and one off events for example, sailing trips overseas, private dinners and group activities. Negotiating budgets and reading contracts, liaising with managers from hotels and events spaces, project managing the events in their entirety to deliver the brief content for my senior team. I have also managed all aspects and facilities of an office, supervising mergers and office moves, managing refurbishments and all aspects of reception management, including the hiring and supervising of reception staff. I thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial working environment and I seek to surround myself with talented, creative and intelligent mind sets where I can further develop my own skills. I also enjoy working with a company that has a deep sense of culture and where I can immerse myself in the business to support in a more generalist role, mixing events planning, project management and marketing. My career is, for me, a passion, and building the relationship with individuals at this senior level is something I have searched for in my career.
