My names Jennifer Wheeler and I specialise in fashion marketing, PR, styling and content creation. When I was twenty-four I started my own clothing brand that I grew on social media with zero advertising budget. I built a social following and gained such strong brand awareness I ended up with two Topshop concessions and ten wholesalers. I was the youngest person to have a Topshop concession. I later joined Drop Dead where I worked on the progression of their social following to gain 770K followers on Instagram, 800k on Facebook and 250k on Twitter. I helped to build a dedicated fan base who would also use the brand as a community not just to buy product. I strive to create new and engaging content for audiences in such a saturated digital world. I have experimented with different types of content from video, photo to copy, and subject of content; emotional, informative and humorous, to extend the companies reach through paid, earned and owned media. Six Six 6 is a website I set up to create content for brands whether it be through styling, art direction, writing copy or photography. I organised a trip to LA where I styled or shot content for Ragged Priest, Miss Guided, BAIT, Dr Martens, Paperchase, Dimepiece, Motel Rocks and Jaded London. I worked with influencers/models/creatives to create engaging/original content for these brands. I have also worked with Next, Just Hype, Regal Rose, Quay Australia, RIPNDIP and Cat Footwear. I have built relationships with PR’s and creatives in the UK and ROW to lend products from. Art directing and styling a selection of brands has helped me understand what content different brands want. I will research into their customer demographic along with discussing their goals and where they want to be. After the content is created I organise everything to be distributed back to the brand in the correct format for digital and print. I have written articles for Exposed Magazine, The Drop Date and am currently working on a piece for High Snobiety.

Designed and organised production of garments through building first/second hand research into my target market. Built the ecommerce website and set up all social media channels, keeping on top of new updates, apps and trends. Dealing with customers, buyers and suppliers internationally. Selling within 2 Topshop concessions, employing 5 members of staff. Stocking 10 wholesalers in the UK. Organising events such as The Clothes Show at the NEC. Building the brand awareness via social media and PR. Coordinating, styling and art directing photoshoots for content, ecommerce and lookbooks.
