I worked within the centralised BBC team across all divisions (TV, Commissioning, Radio, News, Sport and Children's) to embed Social Listening, Content Analysis, Influencer Marketing and Community Management into the Social Media strategies of these teams. I worked closely on high priority TV shows to run this Social Listening process throughout a campaign; ensuring that we created content that tapped into the zeitgeist of our community / played-back our community’s voice, implemented strong community management, identified Influencers and subsequent opportunities and analysed content performance on a week by week basis. I used Social Media Listening tools on a daily basis such as Brandwatch and Spredfast. I am also experienced in CRM, Publishing and Analytic tools as well as the native analytics to each social media platform. This role encompassed both analytical and strategic thinking which needed to be effectively communicated with teams of varying levels. Furthermore, I continue to regularly speak at events on Social Media Listening and relevant case studies, both internally at the BBC and externally to widen understanding of this area.

Founding director of Zaapt; Social Media software for marketing teams. Zaapt helped teams plan and schedule social media content away from using spreadsheets and emails. In April 2015 I identified the need for software to improve current social media processes. After extensive market research and customer discovery, I pursued the SaaS start-up which was used by agencies and marketing teams across 30 different countries, including the British Council. Zaapt was shortlisted for BIMA's Startup of the Year in August 2016.
I worked in secondment with Warner Bros. Studio Tour, Butlin's, GREAT (No. 10 Downing Street) and Vue to help create and implement Social Media strategies. By being immersed with their clients I attained a unique insight into culture, relationships and brand direction. This insight allowed me to work with TH_NK to build fitting digital transformation strategies and advice on how best to pitch these strategies to the client. This role demanded a high level of interpersonal skills and strategic thinking, both of which I pride myself on.

I helped organise Old Vic events as part of a team and assisted at them. I corresponded, socialised and worked with top end supporters of the Old Vic, discussed photo shoot concepts with the marketing team and helped during these shoots, plus processed invoices, handled ticket requests, relayed information internally, monitored and re-ordered stock, undertook research, proof read and helped with general administration.
