Hi, I'm Jess, a self-taught filmmaker from Yorkshire, UK. I've been making atmospheric, narrative-driven films all over the world for the last 10 years.
Starting in Beijing with a travel documentary TV series, I've maintained an appetite for all things adventure and still work happily within the travel and sports industries.
I also write and direct narrative work. My debut short film ‘My Condolences To Your Future Lovers’ was released in 2022 after a successful run in the UK screening at Bafta-qualifying festivals. I am now working on several other shorts, a TV series, and a debut feature script.
Regardless of if it’s through fact or fiction, I aim to tell inclusive stories that champion good people. I also always endeavor to share my passion for the outdoors, social change, and Northern humour.
