Jess Ellen Henderson is a London based music producer, songwriter, topliner, singer and keyboardist. Originally from Australia, where she wrote, performed and produced her first EP, she developed a passion for music from a very young age. As a teenager she demonstrated an uncanny ability for arrangements, vocal harmonies and also the fine aural distinction that is essential for work in the recording studio. She studied songwriting in Sydney where she was highly commended by her teachers.
She has written songs that were picked up by the Spotify Global Viral Top 50 New Music Friday UK playlist, songs that were a part of the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony and was a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. One songwriting collaboration, "Wolves" was picked up and featured on US TV series Backstrom. She has composition credits on over 40 songs and 12 albums and EP’s. She also has production and composition credits for several commercial clients including Carnival Cruises, The Zebra Collective and Collaborateur branding agency.
She has produced for independent UK based artist Lucy Mason, Berlin based singer songwriter Sarah Bird and Hertfordshire born singer songwriter Cameron Jones. Her production skills have shaped the sound of over 10 independently released albums including the latest release from Lucy Mason: Flashback Romance, which garnered critical acclaim including the following praise from The Independent Review: “Haunting vocals and clear, brilliantly produced pop.”
She is an accomplished keyboardist and vocalist and has performed on BBC London live, and at several Royal events, including The Queen’s Young Leaders Dinner and at prestigious venues such as The Ned, Australia House and Somerset House.
