After completing my BA in history of art from the University of Manchester I underwent an internship at Tristan Hoare art gallery in London. Upon finishing this I decided to move back to Manchester, where I underwent a host of temporary roles including repeated work for the PR company Citypress where I was part of the data analyst time snagging and inputting client data. I then moved into customer service, working for the exam board AQA. This high stress, fast-paced environment taught me the use of multiple data entry softwares and how to manage a distressed client listening to them, and understanding which software I needed to best aid them. I then decided to move to Florence, Italy, to undertake a year long diploma in Graphic design at the Florence Insitute of Design International. While there I worked part time for an English journalist note-taking and for general assistance where and when needed. Upon finishing my diploma I moved back to London where I undertook various freelance design roles including basic work such as background removal for a company’s client list to more creative work, drawing characters for a phone app. After completing these jobs I decided to go travelling for three months while I still had the freedom! I have since returned from my travels and have begun temping, as well as continuing my design education online, and undertaking a few freelance jobs. I’m ideally looking for a part time job so I am able to carry on building my portfolio and design skills during the rest of the week. I’m a friendly, hardworking, personable character and willing to help out wherever needed.
